For me, Oleo began by watching my father.
He has always had a deep love for the olive land. Not in a distant way, but in the kind of love that shows up every day - caring for the trees, respecting the soil, and understanding that good olive oil starts long before the harvest. He treated the land with patience ad attention, believing that:
"What you give to it is what it gives back."
Long before Oleo was born:
Growing up, I saw how much pride he took in doing things the right way. No shortcuts. No rush. Just consistency, care, and respect for tradition.
At some point, he began experimenting with olive oil at home. One of those experiments turned into something special - a chili-infused olive oil made simply, naturally, and with intention. When friends and family tasted it, the reaction was always the same. Surprise, followed by curiosity, followed by love. People kept asking for more.
That's when it clicked.
This wasn't just olive oil. It was a story, a process, and a flavor that came from genuine care; not trends or mass production. I realized that what felt normal to us was actually something worth sharing.
Oleo was born from that realization
